  They have a lot of the things you need for which you would visit a hardware store. The absolutely biggest problem is getting human help. Home Depot is cutting costs by cutting employees. I went in to get a key made. After looking around for someone near the key machine unsuccessfully, I went to the Customer Service desk. They said they would call someone to the key machine. After waiting 13 more minutes, I just started to make it myself (I have made keys and worked hardware previously, so I knew what I was doing. Interestingly, as I started, someone miraculously and finally showed up. Don't get me wrong ... The employees appear to be VERY knowledge and competent. Just Home Depot is trying to make money by damning service to the customers while overloading employees so that they don't have time to service customers and answer questions about products. There is an Ace Hardware west of this Home Depot about 5 miles and they DO have time to actually provide service to their customers.

  The only good thing about this The Home Depot in Eldersburg is it's location. This particular store never seems to have what you're looking for in stock and apparently nobody works there. You'll see ppl walking around in Home Depot shirts, but when you need help they all seem to disappear. If you're lucky enough to find an employee, more times than not, they have no clue what you're talking about or have an attitude bc you're interrupting their free time. The last straw for me is that their employees have zero respect for veterans. Shame on you Home Depot!!! I will be shopping at Lowe's from now on.
